Lintman Junior Open Shoot – Saturday 20th May (Ascot)

Surrey Junior Outdoor Target Championships – Saturday 3rd June (Wisley)

Metric rounds 1 to 5 depending on age. This is a well attended event giving junior archers the opportunity to experience an UK Record Status shoot. Archers with sufficient scores are eligible for the English Cross awards from the English Archery Federation (which can be claimed on the day). Guildford Junior Acorn – Saturday 24th June (Guildford)

Western Rounds with loads of additional fun activities (the favourite of all of the junior shoots). The fancy dress theme for 2017 has yet to be announced, but last year’s theme was Minions and over 80 Juniors joined in the festivities which included a quiz and games over lunch, a Spotify DJ on the shooting line, and a head to head shoot out at the end of the tournament where everyone joins in trying to distract those remaining in the competition by squirting them with water. Warfield Junior Open Short Metric - Saturday 8th July (Binfield)

Another opportunity to experience a dedicated UK Record Status Shoot for Juniors, with over 50 archers shooting Short Metric Rounds concluding with a head-to-head knock-out where competitors get to create as much noise as possible to distract the opposition. The 2016 competition saw 7 national records being broken so it is a popular shoot with Juniors from across the South East. Application forms online at:
