In the second week of October each year, the Club hosts the Laleham Albion Tournament, a major regional tournament, which has been shot every year since 1962. At one point in the 1980s, 64 targets were needed, catering for over 300 archers. The targets spread from the current Club House into land now occupied by our neighbours, Nottcutts Garden Centre.
On Sunday 8th October 2017, we held the 55th Laleham Albion. We had 48 archers shoot with us and we had a fine, clear day once again! our Lord Paramount was Roy Smither, a long time member of the club and author of Vae Victis: Chronicling the History of Laleham Archery Club
A big thank you to our judges Andrew Trimble, Debbie Horn and Meera Shah, who did a sterling job as always.
A special mention to two of our own: Phil Shore won the Gentlemen's Barebow prize and Jeff Shore who got the Best Gold award. Well done gents.
